The Women's Institute (WI) was formed in 1915 to revitalise rural communities and encourage women to become more involved in producing food during the First World War.
The WI continues to play a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.
Peterston WI is open to women of any age in Peterston-super-Ely village and the surrounding area.
This page will keep you up to date with our events and activities throughout the year. We usually meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7.45pm in Peterston-super-Ely Church & Community Hall.
Celebrating 100 years of the WI with a vintage tea party and members past and present.
