Peterston super Ely Community Council

Welcome to your Community Council website.  We hope you find it interesting and informative, do let us know if there is anything you'd like to see on the site.  In order that the Council can keep you up to date with local news and events we ask people to sign up to our mailing list.  You can leave the list at any time and we will not pass on your details to anyone else.

What are our responsibilities?

The Council are here to represent the electorates of Peterston super Ely.  We work closely with Cllr Michael Morgan and with the Vale of Glamorgan Council to try and resolve any issues or help with any projects within the village.  We try to ensure that the villager's views are passed on to not only the Vale Council but also the Welsh Assembly and any other relevant bodies.

We are also responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the playing fields, playground and the churchyard.

All planning applications within the village are forwarded for us to comment on.

We are very much your representatives and therefore require your help and support to continue to make Peterston a great place to live.

Our meetings are usually held on the second Monday of every month other than December and August  All meetings are held in the Church and Community hall at 7.30pm .  Each meeting has a public session during which you can ask any questions or raise any points which we will then formally comment on.  We really welcome people to our meetings and would love to see you there.  2018 Meeting Dates
